We will have a PTA sponsored coffee on the yard and parents/staff will be available to help new students find classrooms. School starts at 8:15 a.m. and Kindergarteners dismiss at 11:35 a.m. First - fifth graders dismiss at 1:15 p.m. on the first day of school.

School begins at 8:15 a.m. Kindergarteners dismiss at 11:35 a.m. and first - fifth graders dismiss at 2:30 p.m. On Wednesdays, Kindergarteners dismiss at 11:35 a.m. and first - fifth graders at 1:15 p.m. On the first day of school, first - fifth graders dismiss at 1:15 p.m.
Welcome to Green Hills Elementary School!
Construction Update: The Laurel Avenue lot is closed and the only access to school is from Ludeman Lane. In order to keep children safe, THERE IS NO DROP-OFF or PICK-UP in front of Green HIlls on Ludeman Lane.
Even though the fences are down, the construction company is still wrapping up projects. Please do not come on the campus until August 28. The only part of school that will be accessible is the library, which will be open for registration, beginning on August 17.
Sandra Totah Artistic, Courageous, Inspirational
We are deeply saddened at the loss of a beloved student, Sandra Totah. Sandra passed away on July 26, 2010 after a year long battle with a brain tumor. The staff and community are grateful for all that Sandra and her family have taught us about love, perseverance, bravery and friendship. A memorial fund will be established to provide funding for some of Sandra's favorite things - Coloma Discovery School scholarships, Art/dancing and books. If you would like to make a donation, please make a check payable to Green Hills PTA and write Sandra Totah Scholarship in the memo. This will go towards scholarships for Coloma Outdoor field trip in 2011. If you would like to donate to Green Hills School, the money will be used for garden beautification and Smart Boards. Sandra's brother George attends Green Hills and older brother Sami attends Taylor.

On August 28 from 10am - 12pm, all students and parents are invited to Green Hills. Counselors and staff will be available to lead activites that will help with grief and personal loss. We will dedicate the mural to Sandra's memory.
